Last night's lunar eclipse had everyone talking on Monday morning. The Blood Moon photos appear to be going around like headlines of Kanye West's presidential announcement, but what's also going around is Burger King's recent mock of the Supermoon. The fast food chain is unveiling a black bun for their burgers in honor of Halloween. Of course, the way they're marketing it is pretty genius.
Alongside the caption, "Something wicked is coming. The wicked good A.1. #HalloweenWhopper #SuperEclipse," Burger King posted a video to Facebook that showed their old whopper turning black – much like Sunday night's moon turned a "blood" red.
Take a look at the ad below:

Time recently reported that the black bun Whopper will be available beginning on Sept. 28 for just $4.99. Coined the "Halloween Whopper," the burger will also come with a black hamburger – making you feel as if you're eating nothing but char.
So, cool?
Per the report, the buns are baked in A.1. "Layered between the buns is savory flame-grilled beef topped with melted American cheese, ripe tomatoes, fresh lettuce, creamy mayonnaise, A.1® Thick and Hearty Sauce, crunchy pickles, and sliced white onions.
And as exciting (?) as the news is for us, it looks like Japan has been doing it for a year. Theirs, however, incorporated black burgers, black cheese, and black ketchup. Which, by the way, were made from "squid ink and bamboo charcoal."
Mmm... tasty!
So, thoughts?
