Former celebrity couple Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green were spotted together not long after filing for divorce this summer. The two spent time with their oldest son, Noah, and both of Green's parents in Toluca Lake, California last week. The former duo dressed casually in t-shirts, sunglasses and sweatpants as paparazzi snapped photos of the seemingly civil family.
The couple officially separated on June 15; however, news of the divorce being filed first shocked fans this past August during a year of celebrity breakups. It is likely that the pair is choosing to stay on good terms for the sake of their two sons, Noah, 2, and Bodhi, 20 months.
The separated pair have filed for joint-custody of their two children and Green has also filed for spousal-support. The former couple was involved in a car accident in Dec. 2014, that left Green with severe vertigo that has kept him out of work. Fox was not hurt during the accident.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles star first met the Beverly Hills, 90210 heartthrob on the set of the sitcom Hope & Faith back in 2004. Green guest-starred in the episode "9021-Uh-Oh" after Fox replaced actress Nicole Paggi as Hope's daughter in Seasons 2 and 3.
In a 2009 interview, Fox reminisced about how quickly she fell for Green. She shared:
"Kelly Ripa's character was kidnapping him for some crazy reason. I didn't know who he was from 90210, but I liked him right away. Everyone was around the monitor watching a scene, and Brian accidentally touched my leg. I remember literal electricity shooting through me and out me from every direction. It was like magic."
The almost 13-year age difference did not deter the couple from spending the last 11 years together. The pair faced many tabloid stories about their relationship and still choose to face them in a united front although the marriage is completely over.
