Teresa Giudice Prison Release Date Revealed: 'RHONJ' Star Home For Christmas

She'll be home for Christmas! She may have spent the majority of the year behind bars, it is being reported that Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice will be heading home for the upcoming holidays. It might be a little over two months away, but new reports are claiming that Giudice's release date is just around the corner. While it has been heavily speculated that the starlet would be headed to a halfway house, as a transition before being home with her husband and her four daughters, it seems that this might not be the case after all.

According to The Inquistr, Giudice will not be having to stop at a midway point between prison and her comfy home when she is released in the coming weeks. Instead she will get to spend all of the upcoming holidays with her family.

"Teresa won't be required to go to a halfway house because that is typically for those that have been behind bars for a much longer term that the thirteen months Teresa will have served," an insider explained to the site. "Individuals that go to a halfway house need assistance and to be monitored as they transition back into society. Teresa wasn't sent away long enough for that to be an issue."

Yet, while she will be getting out of prison in the coming months, Giudice will seemingly be put right to work, as she will need to get a job that is approved by a probation officer, and filming RHONJ doesn't count.

According to Radar Online, Giudice could find herself working at the boutique that sister-in-law and co-star Melissa Gorga is hoping to open in Montclair, New Jersey.

"Teresa could absolutely work there," an insider explained to the news site. "It would be natural because both ladies will be filming for RHONJ. The show would get great footage of them working together."

However, before viewers get to see that footage, they can see the starlet on The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In, which we previously reported on, as it will see how the Giudice family is coping with their wife and mother being behind bars. The three-part special will begin airing this Sunday, Oct. 11, on Bravo.
