Houston Rockets point guard James Harden is a very, very rich man and he is getting richer by the second. He's so rich that he's actually got a money-counting machine in his dining room!

Harden has made $47 million in his NBA career thus far. Next season, he'll be making $15,719,062 and the season after that he'll make $16,744,218 and then he'll make another $17,769,374 the following season before becoming a free agent. To top that off, he has also recently signed a $200 million contract with Adidas (back in August). So you can only imagine just how rich Harden really is.

As reported by BigPlay in a cover story for ESPN the Magazine, Harden spoke on how his life has changed due to his wealth, his relationship with Khloe Kardashian, his 25,000-square-foot mansion in Calabasas, California, which he rents, along with the red-and-black Rolls-Royce Ghost he drives. He even mentioned that he has a money-counting machine he keeps on a chair in his dining room! It seems like the only thing Harden is missing is an ATM machine, like the one DeShawn Stevenson used to keep in his kitchen.

Harden also speaks on the NBA players who most influence his game play. He averaged 27.4 points, 7.0 assists and 5.7 rebounds a game last season. As reported by ESPN, the player has three on-court influences: Kobe Bryant, Many Ginobili and Paul Pierce: "Bryant's monomaniacal drive (no one carried a heavier offensive load last season than Harden); Manu Ginobili's southpaw creativity (the maestro of the Euro step now deems Harden's the best in the league); and Paul Pierce's blend of pace, trash-talk and step-back jumpers."

He also spoke on how losing the MVP award to Stephen Curry affected his game during the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors: "I was too antsy, doing things I don't usually do," he told ESPN. "And for a year of hard work to end that way? That affected me more than any other loss." In the visiting locker room, Harden broke down and cried.

Now, Harden may have lost the MVP to Steph Curry and the NBA Finals to the Golden State Warriors, at least he's winning financially. You can read the full interview on ESPN.
