Vin Diesel is a man of action, large stature and an even bigger voice. The idea of Diesel and Marvel coming together for projects is inevitable. With his recent success as the talking tree Groot in Guardians of The Galaxy, there are new rumors stirring that Diesel will play the face of a Marvel comic next—Blackagar Boltagon in the upcoming Marvel film Inhumans, to be exact.

Diesel, who is gifted with a striking and very recognizable voice, makes for a good fit as the character who causes massive destruction with nothing but a whisper. However, Diesel hinted in an interview that he may be up for a different role in the upcoming film.
"I can totally be something [else] with Marvel. I think playing that role only makes Marvel that much more excited and me having my experience with Marvel, seeing how great they were, makes me more excited," he told io9, adding that it will likely be his physical presence that will make the cut and not his actual voice.
He added: "We've heard a lot of talk about Marvel wanting to have me play a character that doesn't have my voice. So my voice is used for Groot and my presence is used for the other character."
There's only a handful of non-speaking Marvel characters like Psionex's Asylum or Mute, but all signs are pointing to Diesel to take on the role as the King of the Inhumans at the moment.
It was Diesel himself that jump-started the casting rumors when he posted on his Facebook page last summer, "Vin and Marvel... you all made it happen! I get the strange feeling that Marvel thinks I'm Inhuman... Haha."
Marvel Studios has yet to announce a confirmation on the role and is currently planning Inhumans for a July 2019 release.
