Lindsay Lohan For President in 2020? Instagram [PHOTO] Says Kanye West May Have Competition

Two months ago when Kanye West decided to proclaim at the MTV VMAs that he would be running for president, we couldn't help but find a little bit of humor in the thought of him taking over the oval office. This past Friday, however, Lindsay Lohan decided to take a jab at shocking us all a bit further by making an announcement in a new Instagram photo that she too may run for president in 2020. It looks like Kanye might have just gained a little bit of competition!

West or Lohan for president in 2020? That's a tough one. If Kanye wins, we supposedly get Taylor Swift as a VP too, right? According to The Hollywood Reporter, this past friday evening Lohan announced via an Instagram photo that she may run for president. Although it's tough to say whether or not Lohan is serious, the photo's caption stated:

"In #2020 I may run for president. Through ups and downs #YESWECAN lets do this @kanyewest #truespirits thank your for inspiring us to be better people @barackobama #kanyewest2020 #lindsaylohanat35 #lindsaylohan2020 with #34yearsofEXPERIENCE #unitingWORLDnations @aliforneycenter @savethesociety @unicef"

Soon after, the actress posted yet another presidential friendly photo to her Instagram account, this time featuring Kanye, with a caption stating:

"The first thing I would like to do as president of is take care of all of the children suffering in the world. #queenELIZABETH showed me how by having me in her country".

As if hashtagging Queen Elizabeth wasn't enough, Lohan made a final post comparing herself to Ghandi just to top it all off. As stated by Inquisitr, many have already decided that Lohan's claims of running for presidency are a spoof. Some claim that maybe she's on drugs, others say that her Instagram account has been hacked.

Who knows really. Lohan may indeed run for president in 2020 and for the sake of humor (along with toning down Kanye's massive ego), we can only hope that she actually is serious. One thing we do know for sure is that if Lohan was serious about running for president in 2020, she obviously plans to use her humanitarian views to assist in getting her the vote!
