It seems like Amar'e Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony didn't part on good terms and their beef continues. Stoudemire recently took a STAT pop quiz with ESPN's Tom Haberstroh on the top ten players who assisted him the most throughout his career, and he replied with "I know Carmelo's definitely not up there."

Back in 2010, Amar'e Stoudemire was traded to the New York Knicks (which at the time was a huge deal for the Knicks, who were in desperate need of a good player to help them get anywhere). Stoudemire remained with the Knicks for four and half seasons before being traded to the Dallas Mavericks. During that time, Carmelo Anthony was traded to the Knicks (in 2011) and played alongside Stoudemire.

Before Melo's arrival, Stoudemire thrived for the Knicks, averaging 25.3 points per game and 8.2 rebounds per game, according to Larry Brown Sports. However, once Melo came around, Stoudemire was out for a lot of his time with the Knicks due to back and knee problems. Regardless, Stoudemire and Melo didn't make much of a good team, as Anthony was the star player (replacing Stoudemire and becoming the dominant player).

This obviously led to some drama between the two players, which now continues after Stoudemire decided to throw some shade at Melo during an interview with ESPN's Tom Haberstroh. Haberstroh decided to give Amar'e a statistics pop quiz, and he asked Stoudemire to name ten players who he thinks assisted him the most. Amar'e named Steve Nash, Stephon Marbury, Raymond Felton, Joe Johnson and Leandro Barbosa before getting stuck. He then said, "I know Carmelo's definitely not up there."

Actually, much to Stoudemire's surprise, Melo was number 7 on the list, with Shawn Marion, Raja Bell, Grant Hill and Boris Diaw completing the top ten, Hot97 reported.

Apparently, despite their differences they didn't make such a bad team (kind of...). Anyway, it's not like it matters much at this point since Carmelo is still with the Knicks and Stoudemire now plays alongside Dwyane Wade and the Heat in Miami.
