WWE will present the October 26, 2015 episode of Monday Night Raw from the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego at 8 p.m. Eastern, and this show will feature all the fallout from last night's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, specifically what happened to Undertaker. We've got a full preview for you, so let's set up tonight's show.
The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar went to war for the final time last night, and it was a brutal and bloody affair that was an appropriate conclusion to the rivalry between these two goliaths. They were both bleeding minutes into the match, and each man kicked out of multiple finishers. They survived chair shots, steel steps, and more. Lesnar even ripped up the ring itself and exposed the wood underneath. And in the end, Lesnar emerged victorious when he delivered a final, punishing F5 onto the exposed wood to put his nemesis down for the last time.
But it didn't end there. After Lesnar left, the crowd showered Undertaker with praise. As the Deadman prepared to do his famous salute, Bray Wyatt's music hit and the Eater of Worlds emerged with his entire Wyatt Family. They surrounded the ring and beat the already defeated Undertaker even further. Bray then commanded his soldiers to "take him," and they carried Undertaker away to the back to close the show.
This was a surprising but strong way to end the pay-per-view. For starters, it renders Bray's match with Taker at WrestleMania 31 far more relevant than it ever has been. He saw an opportunity to get revenge on the man who bested him on the biggest stage and he took it now that he is once again at full strength with his family at his side once again. Furthermore, it gives Bray a clear direction following his loss to Reigns earlier in the night.
But why did Bray kidnap Taker? Does he plan to brainwash the Phenom? Can he even really do that? When he kidnapped Kane following SummerSlam in 2013, The Big Red Machine eventually returned as Corporate Kane, the Director of Operations. There's no way Taker returns in a suit and tie, so what does this kidnapping mean for the landscape of WWE?
Meanwhile, two wrestlers now need new direction. Brock Lesnar conquered Undertaker yet again, so where does he go from here? The only realistic hurdle for him at this point is the WWE World Heavyweight Championship once again, so will he get another shot at Seth Rollins? Or will he disappear until the Royal Rumble?
And what about Roman Reigns? Rumors are that WWE is preparing to push him again toward a WWE World Heavyweight Championship win at WrestleMania 32, so will we start to see him go on a winning streak? And, if so, then who will he feud with now? Fans seem to be expecting a turn for either him or his buddy, Dean Ambrose, but what if there is another challenger waiting?
Finally, Alberto Del Rio made a surprise return to WWE last night to answer John Cena's United States Championship Open Challenge and defeated the champ cleanly in the center of the ring to capture the belt. Reports are that Cena is taking some time off now, so will we actually see him address the crowd tonight? Or will Cena simply fade into the background for a while until he makes his return in a couple of months?
