Watch WWE 'NXT' Live Stream Online 10/28/15: Road to 'NXT Takeover: London' Progresses

WWE will air the October 28, 2015 edition of NXT tonight and will continue to progress storylines as we move toward NXT Takeover: London on December 16. Apollo Crews emerged victorious in a Battle Royal 14 days ago to become the new No. 1 Contender to Finn Balor's NXT Championship. But since that night, we haven't seen or heard from either competitor. Balor has been mostly absent for the past few months with the exception of his matches in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament, and Crews did not appear on the show last week after the most significant victory of his life.

Reports indicate that Balor and Crews will square off for the belt during the next group of tapings, but it's never too soon to start progressing to the match and build the momentum. This is a face vs. face feud, so less is certainly more when it comes to having both combatants on screen together. But we still must see them mix it up a little bit before they enter the ring to fight for the belt. The title is an easy way to put two people into a match, but the story behind it must have more teeth.

We don't necessarily need Balor and Crews to pummel each other during a promo, nor must we have a contract signing that breaks down into violence. We do, however, need to see them interact with one another at some point and assert themselves as the top dog. Balor can talk about out how he is a fighting champion who is ready and able to defend his belt against anyone, while Crews should point to how he has been unstoppable since he arrived in NXT, and his next destination is the NXT Championship. It's a simple story, but it works here.

The other champion who has been off screen recently is Bayley. The NXT Women's Champion has a new No. 1 Contender in Alexa Bliss, and we saw them face off in one segment the night after NXT Takeover: Respect. This feud has plenty of chances for promos and physical bouts between the two women, so hopefully the story uses those opportunities.

Have Alexa attack the Hugster from behind starting tonight and have her running buddies, Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy, stop Bayley every time she tries to even the score. That way, when the two women finally have their title match, it will be even more satisfying when the champion knocks her out.
