She might be one of the biggest stars in the world, but according to new reports it seems that Gwyneth Paltrow might have let the fame go to her head. The star, who picked up the EMA Green Parent Award, apparently wasn't the nicest person to be around at the event.
Yahoo is reporting that the event took place over the weekend with Lance Bass taking to the hosting duties. A-lister's including Sex and the City star Kristen Davis, as well as Mad Max director, George Miller, took home awards for their environmental practices. According to Radar Online, the star was not only late but she was also not so friendly to people working the event.
"She came late and was extremely rude to the PR people prior to giving her speech," the insider explained.
Yet it wasn't just her tardiness and her attitude that rubbed staff members the wrong way, but also the fact that Paltrow couldn't seem to be bothered with the after party.
"As if that wasn't bad enough, after she accepted the award she did not even stay around for the after party to show her gratitude. She was awarded the highest honor and couldn't even stay to say thank you," the source continued.
OK magazine is also reporting that the actress has angered employees at her lifestyle company with her personality in the past.
"Gwyneth is unappreciative and inconsiderate and expects way too much of her staff," the insider explained. "She works them into the ground and doesn't know the words 'thank you.'"
