English presenter June Sarpong is remembering her late brother, actor and model Sam Sarpong, after he allegedly died in an apparent suicide. According to The Guardian, the sister of Sam said, "I love my brother very much. Sam was an amazing human being. His passing is a loss for the world."
Sarpong begged anyone who was battling with depression, or suicidal thoughts to seek help. She stated, "I'd ask anyone who is going through tough times to seek help. Please talk to someone." Sarpong continued, "My family and I are in a state of shock, please allow us to grieve in private. Thank you for all your messages of condolence."
MStars News previously reported that Sarpong's death is still under investigation. The Los Angeles County coroner's office claimed that the results of toxicology report will officially state the actor's cause of death.
Sarpong allegedly jumped from Colorado Street Bridge in Pasadena, California, on Monday, Oct. 26. Sarpong walked many runways, and modeled for Tommy Hilfiger.
He also was an actor in television series including, Bones, Boston Public, 24, and My So Called Life and the 2016 FX series, American Crime Story. Sarpong also acted in the hit 2003 teenage love film Love Don't Cost A Thing. His fellow co-stars in the movie, Nick Cannon and Christina Milian posted their memories via Instagram and wrote loving tributes in remembrance of their friend.
Back in 2006, Sarpong co-host MTV's Yo Momma alongside Wilmer Valderrama. Sadden by his friends lost, Valderrame posted a photo and a long message about Sarpong.
"I am so sad & so confused.. Sam did it all, believed in dreaming bigger than anyone around him.. We made memories together that will last us forever, thank you for sharing your talent with me and the world.. You were a light everywhere you went and I couldn't be more proud of the journey you traveled.. You just left us too early Sam.. We will miss you and pray for you.." part of Valderrama's message read.
