Holly Holm knocked out Ronda Rousey with a vicious leg kick Sunday, in Melbourne during the UFC 193 event to win the bantamweight title. Holm (10-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) captured the championship from Rousey (12-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) early into the second at Melbrounes' Etihad Stadium. The defeat came as a shock to many, as Rousey had been the heavy favorite coming into the fight. The result shook up not only the UFC world, but the virtual realm of Twitter as well. From Donald Trump, to Lennox Lews, to everbyody in between, they all had something to say.
Here's a look at some of the best Twitter reactions:
Let's start with Donald Trump, who couldn't have been happier. While he was initially on record backing Rousey -- even going so far to say Rousey "liked" him -- things turned completely around after Rousey made her voting intentions clear. "I'm voting for Bernie Sanders," Rousey told Maxim, via USA Today. "I don't think politicians should be allowed to take money for their campaigns from outside interests." Naturally, Trump is no longer a fan.
Glad to see that @RondaRousey lost her championship fight last night. Was soundly beaten - not a nice person!

Charles Robinson, a senior NFL investigative reporter for Yahoo!, portrayed what he believed to be Dana White's (UFC President) reaction to the fight. It's almost certainly 100% accurate.

A few of Rousey's previous conquests got in on the act. You'd almost think they were the ones in the ring.
