Marc Anthony & JLo's Long Island Home On The Market For $9 Million Sale After Singers' Split

Singer Marc Anthony is selling the mansion that he and ex-wife Jennifer Lopez shared with their twins. According to The Real Deal, the $9 million dollar property was previously listed with realtor, Dolly Lenz for $12 million, "but failed to woo a buyer." Now, the listing has been reduced and is marketed by reality show star, Luis Ortiz from Bravo's Million Dollar Listing. And what better perk for Luis than to see the latin musical genius and client perform?

The two-time Grammy winner and platinum selling recording artist bought the original home in 2000, which sat on four acres. When he and Jennifer Lopez married in 2004, the couple purchased the four acre colonial manse next door for $2 million dollar and expanded the grounds. The sixteen room, 3 Country Lane Brookville, Long Island compound has undergone a complete makeover. The property has an original fireplace in each room, a recording studio with bullet proof doors, movie theater, an asphalt tennis court, a pool and pool house to match, designed after Central Park's boat house.

Another selling point of the home is the kitchen's marble counters and a custom made stove that cost $95,000 and let's not forget, JLo's dressing room! Douglas Elliman's broker, Ortiz told CBS's Emily Smith, "They had their babies here, you can find that out." Ortiz then said. "A lot of paparazzis were trying to take pictures of them at the time."

If you're really in the market for fabulous home, this would be a crib to consider. It was built during the '40s. So perhaps it's got great, but what is really interesting is the historical bones of the original owners.  With so much history between the two super star, it was the first home of the famous couple since they had gotten married.

Their set of twins lived in the gated home and who knows, perhaps they were concieved there, as well. Imagine the music that could have been made here. Aafter all, it is the final place listed as a couple for Lopez and Anthony, before the divorce.

The two exes has since moved on. Tu Amor Hace Bien singer is currently married to model Shannon de Lima since Nov. 11, 2014 and has been busy touring the entire 2015 year, with the exception of a brief break, earlier this summer in June.
