WWE will present the 2015 edition of Survivor Series from the Philips Arena in Atlanta on Sunday, and the tournament to crown a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion will conclude. We've got a full preview of the event with spoilers, rumors, and predictions for each match, so let's dive into the details.
Keep in mind these are just our predictions for these matches, but we will pull in confirmed news and unconfirmed speculation as necessary.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Tyler Breeze (w/Summer Rae)
This is the feud many NXT fans hoped for when Breeze got the call up to the main roster. There's not much story here, but somehow that isn't bothersome. One pretty boy just wants to kick another pretty boy's ass because the latter pretty boy thinks he's a prettier pretty boy than the first pretty boy. Breeze is the fresh face here, so he should probably win this one.
Winner: Tyler Breeze
Traditional Five-on Five Survivor Series Match
As of this writing, we still don't know what this match is, so we'll pick Generic Face Team to beat Generic Heel Team.
Winners: Generic Face Team
The Brothers of Destruction (Undertaker and Kane) vs. The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman)
This is an old school goofy supernatural wrestling feud, and I'm loving every minute of it. Bray Wyatt should win this match to establish himself as a monster heel, but we've said that about every big match he has had for the last year and a half. Plus, this is Undertaker's 25th Anniversary. The Phenom isn't losing this match.
Winners: Brothers of Destruction
Charlotte (c) vs. Paige for the WWE Divas Championship
This feud really picked up steam with the controversial angle that closed out Monday Night Raw this week, but we'll stay away from that for now and instead focus on the match itself. It would be more interesting if Paige wins this match simply because it then makes Charlotte an even more sympathetic babyface. As it stands, she's a bit bland, but that could change with time. Still, it seems unlikely they take the title off her so quickly.
Winner: Charlotte
Roman Reigns vs. Alberto Del Rio in Semifinals
Believe. That.
Winner: Roman Reigns
Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose
If Owens makes it to the finals, then it robs the championship match of any suspense because it's extremely unlikely WWE would give him the two top titles in the company. But if Ambrose makes it...
Winner: Dean Ambrose
Roman Reigns vs. Dean Ambrose for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
...then we have the potential, if not the guarantee, of a heel turn for one of these men. Heel Ambrose almost wouldn't even be a heel, but a heel Reigns with Ambrose chasing after him? Hell yes.
Winner: Roman Reigns
