Thanksgiving dinner is coming up, folks, and what that means, for many, is that there's going to be a whole heap of disagreement served between family members. Luckily, Adele showed us via her single "Hello" on Saturday Night Live that there's a way to rectify those arguments.

The singer is celebrating the release of 25, her newest album, which is reportedly going to break some serious records. She stopped by Saturday Night Live just this past weekend to sing both her hit single as well as the newest song, "When We Were Young."

But now, we're talking about Turkey Day.

In the below sketch, the likes of Beck Bennett, Cecily Strong, Jay Pharoah, Vanessa Bayer, Aidy Bryant, Kate McKinnon, host Matthew McConaughey and some child, get together to celebrate Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, as things tend to do, the dinner goes south when talks of politics, ISIS and race surface––largely from Aidy Bryant.

Thankfully, with one click of an Adele tune, the cast is instantly morphed into a peaceful, non-judgmental family that all of us can (hopefully) get onboard with.

Here's the sketch:

So, remember this, folks: If your family starts debating issues that will undoubtedly lead down a nasty rabbit hole of nothing but insults this coming Thursday, turn on some Adele.

Academy Award-winner Matthew McConaughey stopped by SNL last night to fill the host spot, and while it was enjoyable all around, perhaps the best segment was the monologue itself. McConaughey stepped out and admitted that he forgot how difficult hosting the show was – as even though they were putting on 16-hour days, they were nowhere near ready to perform.

He then delivered the origin story for his hit phrase from Dazed and Confused, "Alright, alright, alright."

And naturally, the crowd ate it up.
