Amy Schumer: A 2015 All-Star according to Barbara Walters, VH1, Entertainment Weekly

Amy, Amy, Amy! This has been a spectacular year for Amy Schumer with success from her box office hit, award winning TV show, and strides on stage. Barbara Walters recognized Amy as one of 2015's Most Fascinating People. Amy will also be honored next week on VH1's Big in 2015 with Entertainment Weekly award show.

Amy Schumer, 34, has been no stranger to headlines this year. Her notoriety peaked with the success of her film, 'Trainwreck', a romantic comedy co-starring Bill Hader and Brie Larson. 'Trainwreck' received the People's Choice Award for Favorite Comedic Movie. In addition to her wins at the box office, Amy has made strides with 3 complete seasons of her Emmy-winning television show, "Inside Amy Schumer" on Comedy Central. Stopping at nothing, Amy has also graced countless stages this year from hosting the MTV Movie Awards to a Live at the Apollo HBO Special Stand Up show.

Hard work pays off

Barbara Walters announced that Schumer tops the list of 2015's Most Fascinating People along with Tracy Morgan, Ronda Rousey, and Misty Copeland. Schumer will make an appearance next week on VH1 during the Big in 2015 with Entertainment Weekly award show, hosted by T.I, where this year's hottest pop culture mavens will be recognized. Amy Schumer will be honored alongside Taraji B. Henson, Nicki Minaj, and Mona Scott Young. Tune in to VH1 on Monday December 07 at 9 EST.

The list doesn't stop here.Earlier this year, Schumer graced the cover of Entertainment Weekly (April 2015). The magazine introduced her as, "the comedian poised to take over the world."
