Sorry Breezy fans! Chris Brown can't seem to catch a break. The highly anticipated Australian and New Zealand leg of Brown's tour has officially been canceled. The singer was forced to cancel due to immigration issues with Australia. According to Rolling Stone, Brown has been banned! The 26-year-old's upcoming tour in Australia and New Zealand suffered a major setback due to immigration authorities in Australia declining to grant the singer a visa.
This shouldn't be much of a surprise to the "Fine By Me" singer as immigration officials told Brown back in September that they planned to issue a "notice of intention to consider refusal."
You're probably wondering why the refusal? It seems as if Australian's government has played forgive and forget with Chris Brown after he was convicted of the highly publicized assault of his then girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.
"People need to understand if you are going to commit domestic violence and then you want to travel around the world, there are going to be countries that say to you, 'You cannot come in because you are not of the character we expect in Australia,'" Cash, now Australia's Minister for Women, said recently, according to ABC News.
In April 2011, Australia did allow Brown to bring the F.A.M.E Tour to the country despite Australian feminist groups and former Immigration Minister Michaelia Cash calling his visa status into question.
Brown who has no qualms with holding his tongue took to Twitter previously expressing his feelings about being the poster boy for domestic violence.
I would be more than grateful to come to Australia to raise awareness about domestic violence.Im not the pink elephant in the room anymore

My life mistakes should be a wake up call for everyone. Showing the world that mistakes don't define you. Trying to prevent spousal abuse — Chris Brown (@chrisbrown) September 29, 2015
Unfortunately, it seems as if the domestic violence incident will follow Brown for the rest of his career.
What do you guys think? Was Australia's immigration to harsh on Chris Brown? Do you think that people need to get over the Rihanna and Chris Brown domestic incident already? Let us know down below!
