Universal Pictures Home Entertainment brings viewers the hilarious Minions movie to Blu-Ray and DVD. Before its official release date, check out this special features clip from the animated comedy featuring the voices of Sandra Bullock (Scarlet Overkill), Jon Hamm (Herb Overkill), and Michael Keaton (Walter Nelson).
As we previously mentioned, Minions have served, even while accidentally eliminating history's most despicable villains, since the dawn of time. After their most explosive mistake ever, without an evil leader to follow, the Minions have fallen into a deep depression. With their tribe on the brink of annihilation, three unlikely heroes, Kevin, Stuart, and Bob, embark on a journey to find a new big boss.
In an interview with Den of Geek, Despicable Me director Pierre Coffin discusses how his life has gone "bananas" after lending his voice to the little pill-shaped critters, "[Laughs] It's a weird word! The pressure was more coming off at weird angles. It wasn't going to come from my producer, Chris Meledandri, nor from the studio. It was more going to come from how am I going to convince people to go and see this movie, outside of all the marketing stuff that's going to happen. I can't walk in a toy store in a foreign country without seeing a kid with a minion backpack."
The bonus features for the DVD and Blu-Ray come with deleted scenes, behind-the-scenes featurettes Animation, Actors Studio, and 3D Models still gallery. Included in the special feature are three all-new mini movies, which include Cro Minion, Competition, and Binky Nelson Unpacified.
In an interview with Jezebel, Stuart the Minion discusses the chemistry between him and Bullock's Scarlet Overkill, "Did we do science experiments? Yes. Dozens. Sandy loves science."
Minions arrives on DVD and Blu-Ray on December 8, 2015.
