Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus, Bajirao Mastani, is soon going to hit the theatres. The period love story will remind the fans of Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

Bhansali wanted to make Bajirao Mastani with Khan and Bachchan, but because of their breakup, he could not make it with that couple. After almost 12 years, he finally made the film with Ranveer Singh, his rumoured girlfriend Deepika Padukone and Quantico star, Priyanka Chopra.

However, the period love story between Baji Rao I and his two wives will remind the audience of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam which starred Khan, Bachchan and Ajay Devgan. The upcoming film will feature a song, "Albela Sajan Aayo Re," which was earlier pictured on Khan and Bachchan in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

According to India Today, Bajirao Mastani has a total of 10 songs and among them is the famous love song from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, "Albela Sajan Aayo Re." The original composition was sung by Late Sultan Khan, Kavita Krishnamurthy and Shankar Mahadevan. The song which will feature in Bajirao Mastani has new six singers including Shashi Suman, who got famous from the Indian version of American Idol. Suman was quoted by Mumbai Mirror as saying: "Bhansali sir retained the original lyrics and roped in six singers, including me, to sing it."

Khan started dating Bachchan in 1999, the same year when Bhansali's romantic drama, Hum Dil Chuke Sanam, was released. The duo got a lot of media coverage and there where plenty of rumors that the couple would soon get married. According to Times of India, the couple got split in 2001 because of Khan's abusive behaviour.
