Tyrese Gibson Buys Daughter Shayla an Island Before Christmas

What is the most extravagant gift that you have ever received? Well, whatever you just thought of has been squashed by the gift an eight-year-old celebrity daughter received. Tyrese Gibson gifted the number one lady in his life, his little girl, an island. Do not feel jealous, if you manage. Gibson reportedly dished to Entertainment Tonight at GQ's Men of the Year party that he surprised his daughter, Shayla Somer Gibson, with an island.

AND – it's not even her Christmas present.

We are all wondering just where this island is and what will an eight-year-old do with it? People reports Gibson's response was, "Can't say [where]. She knows all about it and the island is called Love Island. I'll be putting it on Facebook soon."

Furthermore, the publication reports, when asked just exactly her Christmas gift would be he responded with, "She watches a lot of TV so I wouldn't want to put it on the air because she will probably see it."

Gibson was also on the red carpet dishing on the book series him and his daughter co-authored together. Back in March, Gibson told People what sparked the idea of the book sequence. "She just really brought me up to speed on a lot of things that she feels like her friends would love to read about, so we wrote six books together and I'm getting the artwork done on it now.

"The books are about bullying, faith, sharing, being courteous and nice."

Gibson is starting off his daughter early in world of ownership, between buying her some real estate and creating her own publishing company.

"The name of my publishing company is called Gibson and Gibson Publishing and she's the other Gibson."

Having a dad that spoils you and gives you a sense of responsibility at a young age is what any young girl can ask for. It can also be a terrible thing for the man she chooses to marry because her standards are at an all-time high, as they should be.
