Nick Cannon has such a huge heart in such a tragic time. MStars News has learned that the ex-husband of Mariah Carey donated funds to a couple killed in New Orleans. Breon Stewart, Lionel Delpit III and their unborn son were gunned down just days before they were expected to welcome the child.

According to Vlad TV, Cannon donated $1,000 to a GoFundMe account that was established by the slain woman's family. Lil Wayne's ex, and New Orleans native, Toya Wright also donated to the account which reach its $8,000 goal in one day.
Fox 8 News in New Orleans spoke with Stewart's mother, who is heartbroken that she will never see her 23-year-old daughter or meet her grandson, who was due sometime around Christmas.
"Everything about my baby was good," Nicole Stewart said about her daughter. "I still want her to walk through this door. I want her to use her key and just come home." She added, "She didn't deserve it. He didn't deserve it. My grandbaby didn't deserve it."
The couple were shot and killed as they were pulling up to their home at the Wind Run Apartments. The hospital staff tried desperately to save the unborn child, but weren't successful. In 2011, Stewart graduated from George Washington Carver High School as the valedictorian. She was currently in school for nursing.
Stewart has a twin sister named Britnee. She too was pregnant and had a baby girl a few days ago. Delpit was a little chief of the Black Feather Mardi Gras Indian tribe, and had two jobs to provide for the upcoming birth of his son who was going to be named, Lionel Delpit IV.

Witnesses claimed that they heard at least 20 gunshots. Despite her pain and grief Stewart said that she forgives the person who killed her family. "I do forgive you. I just want you to realize what you've done. You took away a family, my family," the mother said.
Police are still investigating and want people who have any information on this tragic story to call Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
