The ladies at Litchfield might be locked up, but that's not about to stop them from having a sweet time on Christmas day. Netflix's flagship show, Orange is the New Black, cast their inmates in a prison version of A Visit from St. Nicholas for the 2015 holidays.

According to USA Today, to celebrate the arrival of every child's favorite day of the year, the cast of OitNB has released a clip of themselves in full character, as they recite a prison twist of the popular poem, with Santa visiting the ladies in Litchfield only to end up getting mugged.

In the revision of the classic Christmas poem, the Litchfield inmates are all in their bunks when they hear "such a damn clatter" that woke them all up, and, of course, once they followed the noise, they realized Saint Nick had paid them a visit.

As Slash Film reports, ol' Kris Kringle is referred to as "an old white dude" in this new version, in which some of the show's most iconic characters chip in one by one to recount the night when Santa came to Litchfield only to get a little roughed up by the inmates.

The whole cast got together to see the old white guy with a beard interrupting their nightly routine (like how "some were getting some action/hey, we ain't monks") to get around the present-giving man who was wearing red from his head to his shoes.

In the clip, the inmates at first couldn't believe their eyes, but after they saw some deer parked outside, things seemed pretty obvious - and of course, the ladies being who they are, they then started to see what was on St. Nick's bag, only to end up hitting him because they're not exactly in prison for being nice.

There's still a last surprise in the clip, so watch it yourself!
