NBC captivated audiences with the winter finale of Blindspot. Before the hit NBC drama returns from hiatus in February 2016, this is the perfect opportunity to check out why Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander), Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton), and Edgar Reade (Rob Brown) are so exciting to watch.
As we previously mentioned, Blindspot follows Jane Doe (Alexander) is suddenly discovered in the middle Times Square. With no memory of who she is, Jane's only clues are on her body. With the help of Kurt Weller (Stapleton), Jane has to figure what the mysterious tattoos mean. But is Jane actually part of the conspiracy that Weller is seeking answers for? Can Jane truly be trusted or is there a traitor in the mix?
5) Someone Explain To Me That Cliffhanger!?!
During the winter finale, after water-boarding Jane, CIA deputy director Carter (Michael Gaston) met his own demise as he was shot down by an assassin. Recognizing the face of Carter's assassin, Jane watched a recording she made herself, explaining she has orchestrated everything. What will change between Jane and Kurt, especially since they shared a kiss before she disappeared?
4) Poor Patterson!
Patterson's (Ashley Johnson) seemingly unemployed but forever loyal ex-boyfriend David (Joe Dinicol) was killed off. David went rogue to crack a code and win back Patterson, but ended up with his throat slit. Is it too soon for Patterson to hook up with someone knew? Should she be in mourning still she the show returns?
3) I Want Guerrero To Be A Zombie!
It seemed like the end for incarcerated crime boss Saul Guerrero (Lou Diamond Philips). The corrupt CIA deputy director Carter (Michael Gaston) orchestrated Saul's hit behind bars. Th last thing we saw was Saul lying on the floor, bleeding supposedly to death. You cannot have a cool name like Guerrero and be dead on this show!
2) Someone New Is Coming!
We also mentioned, the Hannibal actor, Aaron Abrams, has landed a recurring role on the NBC action drama. Abrams will mostly seen as a possible love interest opposite actress Audrey Esparza. In his character arc, Abrams plays "a driven Assistant U.S. Attorney," who eventually develops a relationship with Agent Zapata (Audrey Esparza).
1) The Action Sequences!
There's hand-to-hand combat, shootouts, and all kinds of action-packed scenarios on this show! I can't wait to see Jane Doe kick some more butt! I want to see more of that chemistry between Jaimie Alexander and Sullivan Stapleton. I want more I tell you! More!
Blindspot will return February 29 at 10pm on NBC.
Readers, are you excited for Blindspot s return?
