Nearly two years after Kristen Bell and Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas teamed up again for the movie reunion, the two biggest names behind the cult detective show are working together once more, as the Frozen actress nabs a role in his latest show, iZombie!

According to an Entertainment Weekly exclusive, Bell will be guest starring in the show in quite the mysterious role: only her voice will be heard, as she won't physically be in the episode.

Airing on January 26, the iZombie episode in question, entitled "Fifty Shades of Grey Matter," will see lead character Liv (Rose McIver) eating the brain of a young librarian with a love of erotic fan fiction. The premise sounds as fun as can be, and we already can't wait to see how Bell's voice fits into the whole thing!

There's obvious speculation that Bell's character will be the voice of the librarian Liv eats, but there's still no confirmation. Unfortunately, in any case, it seems like she won't be reprising the role of everyone's favorite private investigator from Neptune, California.

E! Online reports that, in the season and a half the show has been on The CW, iZombie has made a number of Veronica Mars references, whether intentional or not, so it only makes sense that the star P.I. herself would make an appearance eventually.

Bell isn't the only Veronica Mars alum to pop into Thomas' new show, as Ryan Hansen, Percy Daggs III, Daran Norris, Adam Rose and David Starzyk have also made appearances.

Of course, Bell has done a lot of voice work in her career, narrating Mars as well as Gossip Girl in the past, not to mention playing one of the most beloved Disney princesses of recent times, Anna, in the 2013 smash Frozen as well as the 2015 short film Frozen Fever and the upcoming sequel.
