Although Ubisoft had a pretty huge announcement in today's reveal of Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, the video game development studio also broke some hearts this week. According to the company's financial report and investors call that took place recently, the highly anticipated title, Tom Clancy's The Division has had its 2015 release date pushed to early 2016. Previous reports of the next Assassin's Creed video game title have been officially confirmed this week thanks to the reveal and gameplay walkthrough trailers released by Ubisoft. Though we called it "Victory" for quite some time, the new title is Syndicate, and is set in England during the Victorian era, in 1868. Though earlier reports claimed at late 2015 release date, we can get our hands on this new gameplay on October 23, 2015 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The Season 4 finale of "Person of Interest" aired on CBS. In the renewal of Season 5, Finch (Michael Emerson), Reese (Jim Caviezel), and Root (Amy Acker) will be back to "save" the dying Machine from Samaritan, but with a reduced order of episodes, in a 13 episode arc. Read More »
On Tuesday, Nintendo released a mysterious tweet of a man in a hoodie raising his fists in a gym. According to the gaming giant, this was supposed to be a clue into their big 2015 E3 announcement that took place Thursday morning at 9 a.m. On Twitter, some speculated this was Punchout related, but it turns out that wasn't the case at all. Instead, their big announcement was the return of the Nintendo World Championships. After months of thinking that the next Assassin's Creed game from Ubisoft would get the title "Victory," we've learned this week that 2015 will see Syndicate as the newest installment of the popular video game franchise. Warner Brothers has announced the list of the voice cast for Batman: Arkham Knight, and it's pretty star-studded. Naturally, Batman will be Kevin Conroy. This will be his return to the series after not voicing Batman in Arkham Origins. Also returning is Tara Strong as Harley Quinn, Nolan North as Penguin and Troy Baker as Two-Face. The most exciting announcement on the Warner Brothers actor list in terms of a new star joining the voice cast though is probably Jonathan Banks.
