We're absolutely loving what's taken place at the 2015 E3 Conference so far, and we're only on the second day of showcases, put the expo itself hasn't even begun! We've already seen plenty of new games announced, but we're excited for Dark Souls III. We got to see our first look at this new title during the Microsoft Xbox conference, but the gameplay comes out on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 when its early 2016 release date hits. Bethesda Softworks made its E3 Conference debut in 2015, announcing an amazing amount of new titles and gaming milestones that probably blew the competition out of the water. Earlier this year, Mewtwo returned to Super Smash Brothers and that was big news in the Smash community. This was the first time a character was added to a game via downloadable content. Mewtwo isn't the only new character in the Smash-verse though. There are two new characters on the way and one of these guys might possibly the biggest additions the game has ever seen. Ryu from Street Fighter is looking to make his debut very soon. The news came after a Japanese leak showed that he and Roy from Fire Emblem would be making their debut in the Wii U version of the game. Read More »
Before making their E3 2015 debut, Earth's Mightiest Heroes are assembled once more in "LEGO Marvel's Avengers" videogame. Featuring Thor, Black Widow, and Iron Man, the gameplay trailer re-iminagines the action-packed Battle of New York between the Avengers and Loki in brick-sized mini-figures. Read More »
Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, the mysterious new PlayStaion 4 exclusive video game from The Chinese Room has officially received a release date, which was announced this week. We can expect to experience this gameplay on August 11, 2015 according to a new blog post from the Sony console. The Nintendo 3DS got off to a shaky start. A few months into its inception the handheld console was forced to go through a price drop and it looked like Nintendo's latest product was a flop. These days it's finally looked at as a success. In the United States it has sold 15 million units and world wide it has sold more than 52 million. The description of Ninja Theory's upcoming video game, Hellblade might seem like a pretty straight-forward third-person combat fighter. We know that it follows a female Celtic Warrior that travels through Hell after suffering a devastating Viking attack, but we've learned so much more about this game thanks to its new 2015 E3 Conference gameplay trailer. According to this new video footage, this PC and PlayStation 4 title is based on mental illness and the struggles that come with it. This week, we were treated to a special teaser trailer for Konami's upcoming release, Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 featuring Barcelona FC's star Brazilian footballer Neymar Jr. According to this video, we can expect more gameplay footage to be revealed at the end of this week, too! Plus, Neymar is the star of the game's cover this year, with a pre-order special allowing players to access the player for free in the title's myClub section. The Last Guardian could be the most anticipated video game ever considering how much hype has been surrounding it for the last number of years. Unfortunately, it looked like the title had been cancelled right after news of a PlayStation 4 move had been put into place. The Nintendo World Championships will soon be in full swing and a lot of great news has come out surrounding the game. For one, Kevin Pereira of G4 and the Joe Rogan Experience will be its host. We can now confirm that Sword Coast Legends, the new RPG video game based on and inspired by Dungeons and Dragons, has an official release date set for Sept. 8, 2015 on PC, Mac and Linux according to developers n-Space and Digital Extremes .
