Justin Bieber's Comedy Central roast is coming up tomorrow, March 30. And while we're all uber excited, we can't help but wonder what the comedian's have in store for the singer-turned-"bad boy." Sure, we've read a couple of things online but we can only hope that there's more fire where that all came from. But where to turn for the good material? Yes, the roasters have an ample amount of material to choose from, given Bieber's past antics; but for the dirt? The real make-your-teeth-cringe type stuff? It's being reported that Empire's very own Taraji P. Henson – who plays Cookie Lyon on the famed Terrence Howard-led FOX series – will host Saturday Night Live in April. Before her debut performance, however, Birdman star Michael Keaton will step to the iconic NBC stage for the third time on April 4. The announcements come after Empire rounded out its very first season, which needless to say was an absolute hit, and after Birdman received numerous Academy Awards, including the win for Best Picture. Actor Sean Penn may be starring in The Gunman, which hit theaters this past March 20, but it looks like there are some other films he’s watching –– like those ISIS beheading videos. Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David's 90s baby Seinfeld had a brilliant way of stepping around controversial topics and tackling them straight on in a SFW sort of way that no other sitcom could do. The perfect example would be "The Contest"––the masturbation episode in which Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer enter a contest to see who can be "master of their domain." And while it seemed nothing could top that, apparently the heads over at NBC gave the axe to a couple of episodes they deemed too controversial for the airwaves. While David, Seinfeld, executive producer Larry Charles, and a number of other writers wrote the two scripts, the network decided it best to cancel them and not even film due to them being politically incorrect. After comedian John Mulaney’s FOX series Mulaney was canceled, the world of comedy was left with a heavy void needing to be filled. Luckily, it’s being reported that former Saturday Night Live player, and co-star of the now defunct FOX show, Nasim Pedrad, will be filling out holes – we mean voids. If you’re a coffee-drinker then you undoubtedly heard about Starbucks’ #RaceTogether campaign. As a way to bring up the subject of race with their customers, the baristas at Starbucks were told to write “Race Together” on the side of every cup they serve. The hope was the act would serve as a conversation starter. Unfortunately, all it seemed to do was create criticism and backlash. Which is exactly why the famed coffee company canceled the idea after one week in practice. After completely busting open (again) the case against Bill Cosby and those various rape allegations, it looks like Hannibal Buress has had one heck of a tough time. Of course, not nearly as rough as Cosby himself but he did receive some backlash from Cosby Show fans. During a recent stop over at Jimmy Kimmel Live! the Broad City star told Kimmel about a number of death threats he's received due to his calling out Cosby.
