Of all the things to have happened to comedian Marc Maron over the years, we're assuming talking to a President is not one of the things he assumed he'd be doing. But as luck (or work and effort) would have it, it appears the WTF podcast host and star of IFC's Maron may very well be interviewing President Barack Obama on his oh, so popular podcast next week. But with the recent, and terribly unfortunate, Charleston church shooting that recently took place, we're not so positive it'll go down with the POTUS. Read More »
Billionaire Donald Trump has officially announced his run for the President of the United States. And while he's undoubtedly happy about it, it appears that no one is more gleeful than Daily Show host Jon Stewart, who will be having perhaps the best last six weeks on Comedy Central ever before leaving the show on Aug. 6. The comedian had one hell of a time reporting on Trump's announcement during last night's show. In fact, he enjoyed it so much that he had a little "episode" during the report. Read More »
If former NAACP Spokane leader Rachel Dolezal thought she was going to be able to get away from Jon Stewart unscathed amid her “I’m Black” scandal, well, she had another thing coming. The Daily Show host kicked off last night’s episode with guest Judd Apatow by unveiling a very infrequently used segment titled Whaaaaaaaat?! In the below video segment, Stewart mocks the new story, and even Fox News’ reporting of it, and further notes that Dolezal’s true descent of “Czech, Swedish and German is really f*cking white.” Read More »

David Letterman might have been one of the best interviewers in late night history, but it seems that even he had a few that he was either: a) nervous about, or b) disappointed with. In a new interview, his first since leaving The Late Show a number of weeks back, Letterman admitted that he wishes he could do his last interview with friend and famed musician Warren Zevon over again. With that, he admitted that the first time Bill Clinton came on the program, he was pretty nervous. Read More »
On the totem pole of "offensive" comedians, Jerry Seinfeld is pretty low. So if he's feeling that people are too politically correct these days, perhaps it's true. At least, that's what Real Time host Bill Maher and Roastmaster General Jeff Ross had to say on this past Friday's episode of Maher's HBO series. Read More »
A couple of weeks ago, MStars News reported that it looked like Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane had somehow predicted Caitlyn Jenner's now-famous transition on an episode of his animated series. Of course, it's all just a coincidence, but the Internet had a frenzy, noting that the Ted 2 star-writer-director knew ahead of time that Jenner would one day become who she truly wanted to be: a woman. The Daily Show is coming to an end on Aug. 6 – well, Jon Stewart's part of it – and word on the street is that he'll be returning to stand up afterwards. And given his conversation with The Coloring Book author and soon to be New York Story star – which will be directed by comedian Jerry Seinfeld at the Cherry Lane Theater – Colin Quinn, it looks like it is pretty much a definite. It looks like Jeb Bush has two announcements under his belt: 1) he's announced that he's going to announce that he will run for President of the United States in 2016 on the GOP side, which seems weird, and 2) the brother to George W. Bush is heading to the Tonight Show this coming June 16. Which are we more excited for? Well, the latter... Read More »
Jason Alexander is officially taking over for Larry David in his hit Broadway play Fish in the Dark. And while it seems that nearly everyone has seen the production, there's one person who hasn't: Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon. Which is exactly why the Seinfeld star and mind behind the show yelled at Fallon during last night's episode of the NBC series. The appearances comes after Alexander "slammed" Heidi Swedberg – who played George Costanza's fiancé, Susan Ross, on the series – on The Howard Stern Show, saying that she was difficult to work with. Yet, shockingly enough, it was blown out of proportion. Read More »
