Earlier this week, Cloud Imperium Games, the studio of developers behind the long-in-development video game Star Citizen, earned some great praise from fans after announcing that refunds are available for backers of the project. The studio has been working on the game since a Kickstarter was started in 2012, but many are mad that nothing has been announced yet. In fact, one former backer named Derek Smart has this week threated legal action against the company unless they announce a release date and explain what's been taking so long. Earlier this month, a casting shortlist of actresses favored for the role of comic book character Bella Donna Boudreaux, the love interest of Gambit, leaked, naming possible starlets that could star opposite Channing Tatum in the 2016 film. Actresses Rebecca Ferguson, Lea Seydoux, and Abbey Lee made up this list, but new reports suggest Seydoux (Blue is the Warmest Color, Spectre) has been offered the part and could star in the project. We know that the recent signing of FC Barcelona's Pedro to Chelsea has already had an impact on the Premier League with the defending champions getting a win this weekend, thus moving up in the 2015/2016 schedule standings. Pedro's debut goal certainly has coach Jose Mourinho happy, with some newfound yearning for even newer signings. Reports and rumors suggest that owner Roman Abromovich has agreed to spending millions on two new players, Paul Pogba and John Stokes, who have both been linked to the team since the opening of the transfer window. Star Citizen is one of the most anticipated video games in recent history, mainly because the project was started in 2012 and is still in the works. This length of development has plenty of backers that helped fund the project through Kickstarter on now on the game's official website, but we've learned this week that disgruntled donators are able to get refunds from the developers over at Cloud Imperium. The release date for the highly anticipated 2015 video game Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power came and went this weekend, with a lackluster impression left of gamers due to the brief gameplay. This new game has little to offer in terms of length, but a new apology statement from the developers over at Frozenbyte, addressing reviews and explaining why the game took so long to hit shelves but didn't play long enough. The World Championships of Pokemon were held in Boston, Mass. this year, resulting in some amazing competition based around the card game that has taken over the world. We saw plenty of winners and some momentous celebrations, but this event could've ended in a much more horrible way if it hadn't been for the Boston Police. According to a number of news reports, two young adult males were on their way to the event with a car packed full of guns.
