Germany are the champions of world football, so it's safe to say it's never a bad thing to have a couple of their players in your club squad. That's Arsenal's approach, anyway. Lukas Podolski and Mesut Ozil could help the club in their efforts to save their season, and they'll be back and ready to go before long. Podolski has been out of favour, but after saying 'hell would have to freeze over' for him to move to Tottenham, it's safe to say he's back in the fans' good books. It's been a long time coming, but today Oscar Pistorius was finally sentenced. The former track star killed his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day in 2013, but he pleaded that he believed she was an intruder. He received a three-year suspended sentence for a firearms charge, and the Reeva case was finally settled, with Oscar cleared of murder, but facing punishment for his culpable homicide charges. British music fans are often loving and lusting after American rappers, and they just can't get enough, forcing the hip hop stars to perform several shows there, each and every year. It's been the same for Kid Ink, who has worked with superstars Usher, Chris Brown, Machine Gun Kelly, Meek Mill and Tyga. However, this United Kingdom tour has been all about Ink and his crew, and he's impressed in every show, touring across all of the major cities. Last season, things couldn't have been better for Brendan Rodgers, but after losing Luis Suarez and replacing him with Mario Balotelli, it's safe to say things haven't gone according to plan. Of course, Pool still have Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge, but fitness concerns for the first and injury agonies for the latter have ruined what would be an otherwise exciting, attacking forward line. Balotelli has so far failed to replace Suarez, with the star missing an open goal in yesterday's win over QPR, meaning he still has yet to open his Premier League goals account for the Reds. The Los Angles Clippers are a heavy favourite to win the NBA championship in the 2014/15 season, and it seems they're readying their rookies with some harmless hazing. Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and many other Clippers stars took rookie C.J. Wilcox to a night club, and they forced him to dance while the majority of their roster watched on, laughing at him. Former Arsenal goalkeeper Vito Mannone was enemy No. 1 this weekend for Sunderland fans, after conceding 8 goals, as his team fell to a humiliating 8-0 defeat against Southampton. However, he has gone some way to redeeming himself to manager Gus Poyet and the fans, showing he cares enough to try and offer the fans that travelled the cost of their tickets and journey costs. Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh have made alarming comments recently, ones that suggest they're still reeling by LeBron James's departure and that they have no idea of what's coming, which is worrying considering the NBA season is a matter of days away.
