Adventure Time is easily one of the most beloved current animated TV shows on Cartoon Network, and has been for the last several seasons on the air. So it might come as no surprise that Warner Brothers Pictures this week announced that a feature length movie based on the adventures of Finn the human and Jake the dog is in the works, with producers Chris McKay and Roy Lee behind the project. Adventure Time is a trippy little cartoon that grew into something much bigger, encompassing multiple industries outside of Cartoon Network, including merchandising and publishing. Considering all of the craziness around the show, creator Pendleton Ward stepped down during season 5 as showrunner, without many people even knowing.
