Last night's Boston Strong Benefit Concert brought together numerous musical acts including James Taylor, Aerosmith, and New Kids on the Block. This concert, which included speeches from Boston-native celebrities and icons as well as some victims of the marathon bombings, raised funds for those affected by the terrible day that happened in this great city. “Boston Strong: An Evening of Support and Celebration” is a charity concert event that will be held at Boston's TD Garden Arena on May 30 to benefit the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings which took place on April 15, 2013. Several acts have been confirmed, including Aerosmith, New Kids on the Block, and Jason Aldean. All proceeds will go towards The One Fund Boston, an organization set up by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Tom Menino to aid those most affected by the devastating violence.
