Not to be outdone by Kimmel's Nine Inch Nails performance, Jimmy Fallon called in controversial world-rap figure M.I.A. to perform "Come Walk With Me," a breakneck track off of her new album Matangi. At first "Come Walk With Me," the first studio track we've heard from M.I.A.'s long-awaited Matangi, is a major disappointment. The track has no edge, no verve. It sounds like indie-pop bed music for radio commercials and continues on like that for a minute or two before surprising us with...well, what you would expect from an M.I.A. song: a wobbly, shattered look at world music and moombathon.
