In a new initiative called MACnificent Me, potential campaign stars are asked to submit a few things to MAC's website, including your "Mantra" of 140 characters or less. Contestants are then asked to post their mantra all over social media: Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc. Getting lots of shares or likes won't help get you into the top six, MAC says, but "it will definitely help you grab our attention — which is never a bad thing when it comes time to make our final decisions." Estee Lauder reported flat revenue for the first quarter of 2015, which ended September 30, with net sales coming in at $2.63 billion relative to last year's $2.68 billion. Foreseeing a number of challenges in the coming months, the company also cut its guidance for the full fiscal year.
