2014 hasn't quite gone to plan for Meek Mill and Dion Waiters. The two represent Philadelphia, where they both come from, and ironically the pair made the top level of their career path on the same day. Meek released his debut album, while Waiters made his Cleveland Cavaliers debut. Meek was tipped to release 'Dreams Worth More Than Money', while Waiters' development has slowed since LeBron James returned to bring NBA glory for the Cavs. However, Meek was sentenced to time in prison, while Waiters has kept the bench warm for much of the season. Reports have suggested that Mill has been released from jail today, and one can wonder, will Waiters release him self from the Cavaliers' bench? It all seemed so easy. LeBron James and Kevin Love joined the Cleveland Cavaliers, giving them and stars Kyrie Irving and Dion Waiters a huge chance at NBA success, but it just hasn't worked out. Yet again the Cavs were on the losing side, getting demolished 110-93 by the Toronto Raptors. With Love and James highly regarded yet struggling at the moment, could they opt out of their longterm plan this coming summer? It'd hurt their reputation, but if they no longer believe in their "fragile" team, will they run away at the first opportunity they get? LeBron has remained calm, but he admitted, according to ESPN: "We're a very fragile team right now. Well, we were a fragile team from the beginning. Any little adversity hits us, we just shell up. That's something that will come with experience. This is not even the lowest it's going to get for us. "You guys know, the lowest it can get is up 17 in the fourth quarter of Game 2 of the Finals and losing. It can get that low. Or being up 2-1 and going to Game 4 and lose three straight in the Finals. That's very low. So, I'm very optimistic. I'm very positive. David Blatt and LeBron James both often said before the season that this year, the NBA would see the best of Dion Waiters, but it's been a slow start. The guard has now accepted that his bench role is what's best for the team, and LeBron has added to that view, too. On top of that, he's been locked in a National Anthem race row with some fans, and he's hit out at those who tried to blast him for supposedly staying in the locker room during the anthem. The Cleveland Cavaliers are a heavy favourite to win the 2014-15 NBA title, but they've started very slowly, yet they still believe things will get better. LeBron James rarely has a day away from the spotlight, and he's in the headlines for many reasons this week. First, the "king" claimed that the Chicago Bulls were a "far better team" than his Cleveland Cavaliers. Second, he led his NBA team to domination over the Bulls.
