The 2014/15 EPL season looks like it'll be a lot tougher than the last campaign, but the champions have moved forward, with boss Manuel Pellegrini making major changes to his title-winning squad. After minor additions the club landed world class center back Eliaquim Mangala, and now they've agreed new five-year contracts with key players Vincent Kompany and David Silva. Louis Van Gaal slams his team

Manchester United boss Louis Van Gaal has hinted for a long while that he will make many changes to his new club. The manager is set to bring in a few more signings in the coming weeks, but they will come at a cost. Many players in the current squad have been told they have to leave, and it's believed that Van Gaal has sat down and told certain players just that. Names he has circulated around include: Marouane Fellaini, Nani, Wilfried Zaha, Shinji Kagawa, Anderson and Rafael have all been told they can leave as the club prepare to bring in Angel Di Maria, Juan Cuadrado and Arturo Vidal. Louis Van Gaal has had the perfect pre-season ahead of the 2014/15 Premier League season. The EPL season starts in a matter of days, and despite bringing in Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw, Van Gaal is desperate to add world class quality to his Manchester United team. The club are still missing legendary coach Sir Alex Ferguson and they're still reeling from the failed David Moyes project.
