Coach is launching a series of limited-edition items to commemorate American heritage. First is a collaboration with Charles M. Schulz's "Peanuts" characters. The bag and accessories collection includes satchels, totes, duffels, wallets, key chains, bracelets, T-shirts, wall art and luggage tags. The luxury leather goods brand has given its handbags a dash of cartoon-like playfulness with Schulz's famous comic strip sketches embossed on the satchels, totes and duffels. R&B superstar Beyoncé Knowles and London-based Topshop have formed a 50-50 joint venture company — Parkwood Topshop Athletic Ltd. — to produce an athletic streetwear brand. Russian Fashion Week has been held biannually in Moscow for the past 15 years, yet many Russian designers have struggled to grow their businesses. The reason for this is lack of support. According to "Fashionista," Moscow has never had programs, funds, scholarships or mentorship for emerging designers like New York and London do. On Friday, Oct. 24, the president and co-founder of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia, Alexander Shumsky, announced the launch of the Russian Fashion Council. Nike has worked with a number of fashion models in its 50-year history, but never on the scale it has worked with Karlie Kloss, who fronts Nike's fall campaign. Nike unveiled its spring/summer 2015 women's collection in New York City Wednesday, Oct. 22, which kicked off with a presentation from Nike CEO Mark Parker and a small runway presentation with more than two dozen of the female athletes Nike sponsors. Conceptual streetwear brand Hood by Air is heading back to Manhattan for the third and final part of its spring show on October 30, in collaboration with the Museum of Modern Art. The event, officially entitled "MoMA PopRally Presents Hood By Air: Id," (the first two parts were called "Ego" and "Superego") will be open to the public and tickets can be purchased through MoMA for $25.
