The new Halle Berry drama Extant premiered last night on CBS to okay numbers. While the sci-fi drama opened to a healthy 9.4 million viewers, the show, which sees Berry's departure from film to TV, saw a big drop in the 18-49 demographic. Extant average a 1.7 rating in the key demo, which definitely was lower than expected, after the network has been talking about it for over a year. While it didn't reach quite the numbers it wanted to in the key demo, it did gain a 2.4 rating in 25-54 year old demo. Read More »
