We learned of the complete cast list for the upcoming, highly anticipated new movie from filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, The Hateful Eight (stylized as H8ful Eight), but one name movie fans were excited to see on the list was absent: Viggo Mortensen. Rumors and reports had the actor apparently in talks to join the cast of the 2015 film, but when the announcement came, we learned that he didn't get the role. This week, the actor revealed that these rumors were true, but an intense filming schedule to get the movie released later this year resulted in the Lord of the Rings star to turn down the opportunity.
