The recent Sony email hacks of late 2014 have revealed plenty of movie news and secrets, one of the more newsworthy being the fact that at least one executive wants actor Idris Elba to takeover the role of James Bond after Daniel Craig leaves the franchise. Elba, a black man, has been rumored for the 007 role for quite some time, but now the evidence is there that execs are definitely discussing it. It may be Idris Elba's lucky day, as leaked emails show Sony Pictures Entertainment Co-Chairwoman Amy Pascal revealing that she wants Elba to be the next 007. According to The Daily Beast, a lot of Sony emails have mentioned the James Bond franchise, including the next film to come, "Spectre," scheduled to be released Nov. 6, 2015. The site claims the leaked emails also include a leaked script, sharing the film's budget of $300 million and Blofeld as the villain. If you are a fan of the hit movie, then you know that rumor has it Elba may be up to play the next James Bond in its 24th film.
