Before Steph Curry became the superstar player that he is today, there was Jimmer Fredette. OK, that may be a bit of a stretch, but during 2010-11, there might not have been a more popular basketball player. He was the college player of the year at BYU, he made the absurd look routine, and he enjoyed a pretty healthy YouTube following. However, Fredette has fallen a long way from that stardom. Back in 2011, the Milwaukee Bucks had the opportunity to select Klay Thompson in the NBA Draft. Instead, they went with Jimmer Fredette and later traded him to the Sacramento Kings. Ultimately that led the Golden State Warriors to pick Thompson with the number 11 pick that year. Klay Thompson is ever so grateful that the Bucks didn't draft him. Read More »
