The 2014/15 NBA season is a matter of weeks away, and all of a sudden the Cleveland Cavaliers have gone from the basement, to being the team to beat. What an offseason they had, resigning Kyrie Irving, bringing LeBron James back and trading to land Kevin Love. Of course this trio will be enough to frighten the life out of any NBA team, but the NBA should keep their eyes on the Cavaliers young guard, Dion Waiters, who, as strange as it sounds, might just become their MVP this season. The Cleveland Cavaliers have just added NBA superstars LeBron James and Kevin Love as a supporting cast for point guard Kyrie Irving, but the star today got injured at the FIBA World Cup. Team USA are tipped to win the basketball World Cup at ease, and so far there's little to suggest otherwise. They stormed to a 95-71 win over Ukraine, but they lost Kyrie in the process, who suffered a horrific fall, which resulted in him needing help to get back to the locker room. Will the injury-prone Irving recover in time for the final, if USA get there? Read More »

After a long, hard process Kevin Love is now a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers, and he will get to play with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. The All-Star spent his entire career with the Minnesota Timberwolves, and now he seems destined to get a shot at winning an NBA championship with King James. When Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant speak, the NBA, and the world, listens. Two of the NBA's biggest superstars have made digs at LeBron James, FIBA, the women's World Cup, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Charlotte Hornets recently. Why, you ask? Because of Sydney Leroux's injury, the Hornets decision to not keep Kept by the Hornets and the fact that the Cavaliers want to trade Andrew Wiggins to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Kevin Love. LeBron James is getting everything his own way lately. After leaving best friend Dwyane Wade and his Miami Heat team, the NBA superstar has joined his beloved Cleveland Cavaliers, and looks set to play alongside Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving. John Wall may be one of the best players in the NBA, and rookie Andrew Wiggins may soon join him, but the duo have launched scathing attacks on two of their teams. Wall has attacked Team USA, just weeks before the 2014 FIBA World Cup, whilst Wiggins has (privately) verbally assaulted the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Washington Wizards star, Wall, is unhappy at being cut from the World Cup squad, while Wiggins is furious that the Cavaliers are trading him to the Minnesota Timberwolves, and he's apparently told Kansas University officials just that. Are these stars overreacting? Read More »
LeBron James told the world he was coming home via the internet, but last night he came back to Akron for his homecoming. Although he's made it clear he wants to be with the Cleveland Cavaliers, last night he proved it's where he belongs with every bone in his body. He made an emotional speech and took to the stage like a popstar, which he admitted himself. He even walked out to Skylar Grey singing "I'm Coming Home". For Ohio, for Cleveland, things couldn't be any more perfect, especially after landing Kevin Love. Read More »
