Angie Martinez has made yet another power move in her legendary career. "The Voice of New York" radio host announced that she's now part of longtime friend Jay-Z's Roc Nation management lineup. Martinez joined the team Tuesday, Nov. 4, which can be seen on the company's website. Roc Nation also announced the big news via Twitter: Roc Nation welcomes multimedia personality @AngieMartinez to the Roc Nation family! pic.twitter.com/ukrOQEKgC6 — Roc Nation (@RocNation) November 4, 2014 According to "Vibe," this news follows the veteran radio host's switch from her 20-year home at Hot 97 to its rival radio station Power 105.1 in June. The popular music festival Coachella will be held in Indio, California on the weekends of April 11-13 and April 18-20. Alright Lolla-lovers...the full schedule & lineup for Lollapalooza 2013 has been announced, complete with each of the three day's set times for Chicago's talent-packed, sold-out music festival taking place August 2nd through August 4th at Grant Park. While EDC NYC only announced their complete schedule a week before this weekend's EDM festival, Lollapalooza has given fans nearly four months notice to plan out their personal Lolla experience. Let the daunting task of picking & choosing which artists you would rather see that weekend begin... As Chicago Tribune notes, Lollapalooza will feature eight stages (including a "Kidz" stage) that will host more than 130 performers and pack in more than 10 hours of music daily. This year's headliners include Mumford & Sons, Phoenix, Vampire Weekend, Nine Inch Nails, and the Killers, but it may be nearly impossible to see each of these bands perform Lollapalooza weekend. On Friday (August 2nd) going head-to-head and performing at the same time (around 8pm-10pm) will be Nine Inch Nails and the Killers. As if this toss up isn't already difficult enough, DJ Steve Aoki will be causing even more "turbulence" by closing out Friday night during this same time slot at the Perry Stage, while "Young & Beautiful" songstress Lana Del Ray will be singing at the Grove. The Pitchfork Music Festival is relatively new by music festival standards, but that doesn't make it any less awesome. The festival started in 2006 by Pitchfork Media and occurs every summer in Chicago's Union Park. Lollapalooza 2013 is quickly approaching, and although the official lineup will not be released for the summer festival until next month, The Chicago Tribune recently confirmed a few headliners as a teaser to leave us wanting more. Mumford & Sons, Phoenix, Vampire Weekend and the Killers are among the announced and confirmed headliners for Lollapalooza 2013 in Grant Park on Aug. 2-4. Also confirmed by multiple industry sources are the National and the Postal Service. Lollapalooza promoters C3 Presents said it would officially announce the lineup next month. Another summer festival lineup has been unveiled today: the Free Press Summer Fest! Celebrating its 5th anniversary this year in Houston, Texas, the fest will take place from June 1-2 at Eleanor Tinsley Park, and this versatile lineup is one not to be missed. Including artists like "recently reunited electro-pop duo the Postal Service, soulful and gospel-tinged garage rock band Alabama Shakes, gypsy rock band Gogol Bordello and rap duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis" there really is something for for everyone to enjoy.
