Canadian bleep-bloop musician Claire Boucher, better known by her stage name of Grimes, has had an on-again, off-again love affair with Tumblr. On the one hand, the platform is a major part of the reason why we are speaking her name right now (her early compositions spread around the site like wildfire). On the other she's regularly threatened to leave the Tumblrverse behind and has made disparaging remarks about the service.
