Birdman, rapper and head honcho over at Cash Money Records, has gotten tired of all of the political correctness in hip-hop. He expressed his irritation with a rent wave of forced apologies on the air with MTV Thursday. Lil Wayne is not heartless. Although his controversial Emmett Till reference on his song “Karate Chop,” featuring Future may have displayed a bit of insensitiveness and disrespect, Weezy is only human-or maybe he is not a human being. Either way the Young Money boss apologized to the Till family mid-performance during his “Amerika’s Most Wanted Tour” stop in Tennessee last week. PepsiCo, makers of Mountain Dew, have announced plans to meet with the family of Emmett Till and civil rights activist Rev. Al Sharpton today to discuss the recent controversy over former Dew spokesperson Lil Wayne's insensitive remarks toward Till in his verse on the remix of Future's "Karate Chop."
