Oregon Ducks quarterback, Heisman Trophy winner and No. 1 2015 NFL Draft prospect Marcus Mariota has announced his intention to leave college for the NFL. After losing the College Football National Championship Game 42-20 to the Ohio State Buckeyes, Mariota is expected to go first overall in the draft to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, ahead of FSU quarterback Jameis Winston. FSU quarterback Jameis Winston has declared for the 2015 NFL Draft, and there are plenty of teams circling the QB, who is seen as the second best quarterback prospect in the draft class. According to reports everybody from the Tennessee Titans - who have the second pick in the draft - to the coach-less Chicago Bears and New York Jets, as well as the St Louis Rams and Houston Texans, and even playoff teams like the Arizona Cardinals are interested in the QB, whose off-field indiscretions have plenty of analysts wary. Star Georgia running back Todd Gurley will enter the 2015 NFL draft, says Georgia Bulldogs coach Mark Richt, even as the SEC running back and former Heismann trophy frontrunner is still undergoes rehabilitation for an ACL tear that occurred after returning from a four-game NCAA suspension for receiving money after selling autograph memorabilia. The Bulldogs (ranked 13th) play Louisville (ranked 20th) in a battle for the Belk Bowl this coming Tuesday December 30. Superstar Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall will reportedly not take the field again this season after fracturing two ribs and collapsing a lung in Thursday night's 41-28 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. During the game Marshall took a knee to the back of his ribcage and had to be helped from the field before being rushed to hospital, where he remains but in "good spirits" according to Bears coach Marc Trestman.
