When the Powerpuff Girls debuted in 1998 the show became one of the most iconic cartoons on Cartoon Network. It was nominated for six Emmy Awards, nine Annie Awards and a Kids' Choice Award. While Blossom, Butters and Buttercup were thought to be dead in the water back in 2005, more than a decade later the show is returning.
