Floyd Mayweather only has a couple of fights left until he decides to retire, and it seems his passion has crossed over to his pal Kobe Bryant. Mayweather, as he often does, was in attendance for the big game, as the San Antonio Spurs visited the LA Lakers, but he failed to bring them any luck. However, Kobe has insisted he's jealous of the NBA title holders, and that he'll never give up on adding more accomplishments to his long list of achievements. Firstly, he's helped to convince Tom Brady to ditch the New England Patriots to join the 'Ted 2' movie cast, and now he is trying to convince Kevin Durant and/or Russell Westbrook to join the Boston Celtics. It's fair to say they've struggled, coming up short in past years, but they believe they can do it this season, but only if Westbrook forgets his recent engagement to Nina Earl. NBA superstars often like to out-do one another both on and off the court, and it seems Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook is no exception. The star point guard has proposed to Nina Earl, and rumours suggest he's hoping to better Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union's recent wedding. On top of that he wants to become the face of the NBA, replacing LeBron James, with Nina replacing Savannah James. NBA stars like Russell Westbrook, Derrick Rose, Amare Stoudemire and the retired Magic Johnson are used to getting what they want, but not this time. The superstars were going to visit Israel to support Amare's co-owned basketball team, but the trip has been cancelled due to the Gaza conflict. They planned to visit in September, but sadly they will not be able to do that now.
