We really don't know much about the upcoming third installment of the rebooted Star Trek movie franchise, currently referred to as Star Trek 3, but we're pretty excited that series star Simon Pegg is currently writing the film's script with screenwriter Doug Jung for director Justin Lin. Filmmaker Justin Lin is best known for directing multiple installments of the Fast & Furious film franchise and is working on some season 2 episodes of HBO's True Detective, but in 0216 we'll see what he can do in deep space.
