Manchester United are currently still in the midst of a terrible fall from grace, largely down to David Moyes' terrible year in charge, but despite Louis Van Gaal showing plenty of promise in his opening months in charge, the fans simply cannot expect an immediate change of fortunes, as shown with their opening day defeat to Swansea City. Van Gaal has made Wayne Rooney captain, made Robin Van Persie happy again, and signed stars Luke Shaw, Ander Herrera and Marcos Rojo, but they need so much more. The Premier League transfer gossip is getting bigger and better by the day, and a large reason for that, is Manchester United's rebuilding plans. The club are set to sell and sign several players in the coming weeks, and as the days pass, the rumours are increasing. United are believed to be discussing deals for players such as Arturo Vidal, Angel Di Maria, Thomas Vermaelen, Nigel De Jong, Fredy Guarin and Mehdi Benatia.
